Can't open a new project

When I open the app and click on New Project nothing happens.

Hello there! Please, be sure that your Windows 10 version is updated at least OS Build 19041.
This bug presents only on old version of Windows 10, we recommend to update your OS to fix it.

I have tried restarting the computer, resetting the app, uninstalling & reinstalling, etc. Ever since the update that ran on 5/6/2021 I have been unable to use Animotica.

Hello there! We are truly sorry that you faced this problem. Our team works hard to find out the reason and resolve this problem!
We advise you to try to start a new project with Edit video or Rotate video tools. These ones have the same features.
If you still face the problem, please give us know.

Thank you for your feedback! We suggest going to the Animotica settings on your device and resetting the application settings.

If resetting does not help, follow the next instructions:
1) Uninstall the application;
2) Go to the next folder on your personal device: C:UsersUSERAppDataLocalPackages24711Mixilab.Animotica_c39s816dkej80Settings (You would have to insert the actual PC name instead of the {USER} string). Please delete all of the files in this folder;
3) Reboot your device;
4) Install Animotica back.
